Hello and welcome. You're invited to browse these web pages that display samples of my work as a writer and photographer.  I'm most happy when writing fiction, creative non-fiction, and critical essays, usually about Chicanas and the social and cultural conditions we face living in this world. In my photography, I find great satisfaction when I capture small, daily pleasures. My motivation as a photographer is creating an image that shows the joy I felt in the moment of snapping the shutter.
